I'm pretty sure I had an anxiety attack last night. I was reading and all of a sudden I felt really sick, so I sat up and everything got worse. I couldn't move for the fear I would throw up, I was really dizzy, and I was having heat flashes. I felt weak, almost like the world was pushing down on me and I couldn't get up. I eventually layed back down with my one arm over my head and the other laying on my forehead. I started to feel a little better and eventually I was so worn out that I fell asleep. Could this have been an Anxiety Attack Or something else?

I haven't had any attacks per se but I've had extreme anxiety. I don't think I could have lain back and fallen asleep.
Everyone is different tho so who knows Sounds like it's worth getting it checked out if it continues to happen.

Sounds very unusual to not be an anxiety attack. They can all vary on intensity and length. So, even if it wasn't full on panic it definitely could have been a sudden 'attack' of anxiety.

anxiety isn’t always a bad thing. In fact, anxiety can help you stay alert and focused and motivate you to solve problems.

On a normal, healthy level, yes.

When anxiety is disproportionate and begins to have too strong of a negative effect on someone's life, then it is so longer healthy and becomes a disorder. Anxiety disorders can cause someone to be over-alert, unable to focus, and to shatter their motivation to do anything that gives them anxiety.
