My son is 15.... Today I took him to his primary doctor... He has had anxiety symptoms for a very long time, several months ago he came to us with concerns... We tried counseling but he stopped going as he wasnt cool about talking about it with people outside me and dad...... So I decided to try his primary doctor and see what he suggests.... It went well... Dr said that it was anxiety and when it gets to a certain point comes out in anger... Which is what I told him anyway.... So he perscribed a low dose of prozac.... He is going to monitor my son having follow ups every 3 to 4 weeks.... I am happy that he (my son) is open to seeking help and I pray that the meds are a good fit for him......

(((((((SerenitysWave)))))),

I'm glad that your son is open to seeking/receiving treatment for his anxiety. Hopefully the prozac helps.
I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers!!

Take Care,
Angel
