Hi i am 14 years old and i havent been feeling like myself lately. It all started when i had a panic attack while i was doing my homework and ever since then i became so stressed and i started to feel really depressed. Since then i started to feel different and i started to think that i didnt know myself anymore. I seem to always cry and become upset most of the time, what gets me the most is that i have thoughts of feeling worse each time which makes me really sad and that i won't get better anymore, when i get these thoughts i start to feel overwhelmed and just cry and think that theres no hope. I am stressed to the fact that i might not be able to be the usual person that i used to be. I have never in my life been this depressed and it is really starting to bother me so much. I have been to a psychologist twice now and later we found out that i had anxiety which might be the reason why i am in this situation. I am starting to feel a bit sick and i get these little headaches that i feel from time to time. This has only been happening to me for a while now but i just want to share my experiences with some of you and if anyone has any ideas of some things that i can do please let me know thanks.
Hugs from:

try getting out for regular walks if that makes sense. Do about 45 mins a day. Try to hold back on the caffeine during the day.

for me, 2 things that have helped me: 1. make art (paint, write a poem, etc) 2. take some time for yourself (go to a place you love, surround yourself with things you love, that sort of thing)

hi, I have lots of problems with anxiety...or had I should say. im much better now but it used to rule my life. the most important thing to do is to breathe and do whatever you can to put your body in a relaxed state-pretend you are a wet noodle. You cannot panic and relax at the same time. It is physically impossible. that was the most valuable thing I learned. there were times I went from panic to wet noodle over and over and over again, but it prevented a full blown panic attack. I also keep a visualization inside my head. its a meter for my anxiety. when it gets too high, I use a dial to dial it back down, again, putting myself in wet noodle state, and that seems to be really helpful for me. oh yeah, what the other poster said about caffeine, I gave it up. it increases anxiety. good luck to you.
