My anxiety is felt in my stomach. Most of the time, it is a knotted and burning sensation. Lately, I have been noticing an odd sensation, that is very similar to falling. Does anybody else get this? If so, how do you get rid of it?

During high anxiety your body puts all that energy into vital organs like your heart, and takes away blood from your stomach. Your stomach gets crampy

You can deep breathe, go into a calmer area, exercise, depends. Stopping anxiety may ormay not work right away, you have to get used in doing it. We all get anxiety but we learn to cope

I also get the anxiety in my stomach and I use meditation and deep breathing to quell the knot in my stomach. Hope it helps you as well.

when i feel like that, i breathe, and i find that listening to music helps. or doing something to keep yourself busy... something that grounds you. usually things related to the senses helps: light some candles, wrap up in a tight blanket, sit by the fireplace, listen to music. etc.

Drinking water (slowly) seems to help get rid of the burning and knotted sensation. Rubbing my belly and lying down also helps. Unfortunately, none of these seem to help with the very uncomfortable falling sensation.

Whenever the sensation returns, I want to drop to the floor and curl up. It is as if, I can feel the Earth travelling through space.

Deep breathing helps, when I feel a panic attack coming on. I'll try doing that, the next time this annoying sensation returns.
