ignoring fear has never worked for me.
ending up feeling a lot worse ignoring it, then i did originally when i had the anxiety- i think because it's a natural reaction you have to really pay attention to it. listen to your body |

I agree with shattered sanity ... I have never been able to ignore fear or anxiety successfully, esp. when they are strong. My best approach is to acknowledge the fear is there and then don't fight it but allow myself to float through it. It takes some practice but it works and usually passes quicker than I imagine it will.

I'm not proud of it but I have had to go to meds, Xanax, to fight the fear, it was destroying my job and life.. I hope to overcome it am working with my t.
