I don't know what to do, all my aniexty stems from my past. My present seems bright but my aniexty over the past kills me. I feel like everything I get excited about fails so it gives me aniexty and I feel hopeless. Suffering from aniexty and depression. Any suggestions? Why can't I focus on future and be happy.

Like I said I really don't have an answer..... a smell, sound can send me into an anxiety/panic attack. and it happens faster than I can pinpoint what triggered it. I try to remove myself from people, because I hate the cliches "just calm down" "don't get so excited" etc. what most people (without diagnosis) don't understand is that when you have an anxiety/panic attack... your BODY, not your mind has gone into fight/flight mode... So mostly I have to wait it out.... try to remember to breathe
Sorry can't be of more help... having bad time with this same issue right now.

I agree with you both, anxiety and depression is frustrating to live with.
Also, I have found that the waiting it out is at some points helpful, other times
it seems the energy just freezes up somewhere in my body, and I have to let it "thaw out".
Hoping both of you are able to feel better soon.

Jade
Thanks for this!
