I get an almost dizzy like sensation at random times. It almost feels like a dream like state-it's kind of strange. It use to be scarey at one time but now I just go with it, take a deep breath and soon enough it passes.
I no longer have anxiety attacks of any kind except those 5-10 second swoozie spells. Anyone else familiar with this?

Could it have something to do with your meds?

I'm not sure this counts. But, I got real dizzy when I was ranting to myself about my teacher last semester. I had to grab the table for a second and stop ranting. Also for a month after my grandma died, I got dizzy spells.
I hope you get over the "swoozies." It sounds less frightening than panic attacks.

Hi Hopefull, yes they are a whole lot less scary then panic attacks. I have to stop whatever I'm doing too, just to get my barings.
Hi Candybear, I'm not on meds right now but I didn't get this when I was on them, either. I'm positive it's a psychological thing, having to do with anxiety on a much smaller scale than those full blown attacks. They're like little baby anxiety waves without the drama of a "real" panic attack. (Those things are horrible.)

I get the swoozies too. If I could just accept them it would be better but usually I blow it out of proportion and freak out about them.
