The last week or so I've been having sudden waves of panic & confusion, it hits with no warning. The other night I woke up feeling scared & like there was a lead weight on my chest, the only way I could calm myself was thinking about what I would do if someone tried breaking in, it sounds stupid but at least that situation I could confront & take some control.

At the moment I have the sense of panic & dread, which is making me feel sick & light headed, every time I try & talk to my doctor about it I just feel stupid & chicken out.

I wish you PEACE.

i re-read my post.... (stunner) i was not very clear.

I had the nightmares when I was younger.... that has eased. The anxiety and panic continues..... I have been told that I need anxiety meds - but my FIFTH meds doctor just moved to another city and I am really TOTALLY unmotivated to even bother finding another doctor.

I wish you better success.
