Why can't I have any?!?! stability

Two months into this job and 1) my officemate, who has been here 6 years and has been a huge help in getting me acclimated to the town and job, appears to be on track to be moved to the main office; and 2) the publisher announced about half an hour ago that we're becoming a morning paper in June. Right now we go to press at noon, hit doorsteps by 3, and I'm home at 4. Morning papers go to press somewhere between 10 pm and midnight....so the schedule I've worked so hard to adjust to (I"m not a morning person!) is going away.

There is not a single thing in my life right now that is the same as it was this time last year. I can't deal with any more changes!!! stability

Any non-drug tips for quelling anxiety would be welcome.

The company I work for was bought out just over a yr ago. BIG CHANGES! I don't do change AT ALL! Each morning I went in to work wondering how I would survive. The only thing that I could do was keep it in the minute then the hour then the day. Just focused on what was right in front of me and nothing else.

Now a yr on, I feel like I've always worked for this company and my "new" job once again feels familiar. There ain't no magic pill but the day does give us plenty of minutes to practise in ;-)

I understand how frustrated you're feeling ... change can be really really hard. things for me are COMPLETELY different this year than they ever have been ... so i know what you mean. I wish i could say something that would comfort you, but you just have to believe that things will work out, that things happen for a reason. Hang in there, you can get through this.
