I have just given my mum a letter explaining that i self harm and have attempted suicide. I'm scared. She will be angry. I'm shaking. I have tried listening to my favourite song.Any tips on how to calm down ?

one of the best ways is VIGOROUS exercise. No less than 20 minutes of a good, hard workout.
If you do not have that time..... then (literally) submerge your face and forehead is very cold water...... hold it there for awhile. Up for air and repeat several times. Ice in your palms is supposed to help (but I have never tried that one). |

Woah, that's scary. I can understand why you're panicking, but ultimately, there is nothing you can do but be patient and wait for a reply. Does she not live nearby, or was it like.. a letter to save telling her in person? I can't imagine that I'd have done that for my dad, back in the day. Might help to keep talking about it with people, or you can try the distraction and relaxation route.
