So I just found out that there is a good chance I am going to be laid off. Won't know for sure till maybe next week or the week after that. Depends on how deep the "cuts" will go.

I work, wife at home with multiple kids.

I am not new to this, but that doesn't make it any better. Already on prozac and zanax for "spot treatment" of high anxiety.

I guess I know the drill and the tools, but still is driving me crazy with axiety and frustration. Guess I just looking for a litle support.

Oh, I feel for you! I have been there 3 times in the last 10 years and it's so hard. The waiting is hard enough, then getting out and finding new employment is a chore at a time you really don't feel up to it.

I hope very much that you don't get laid off!

I actually felt better last night. Coming to terms with whats most likely going to happen.

BUT!!! this morning the anxiety is overwheming.

This has always been a problem with my anxiety with working through something. The mornings are the worst. I open my eyes and all my worries are right there in front of me. Overwhelming me... suffocating me.

Hello I hope things get bettr for you and your family soon. I am not sure where you are residing but the United States has a lot of resources such as the Salvation Army and other agencies that can help if you do get laid off from your Job. Take care and good day. Soidhonia

Hi hyper,
I am sorry to hear that you may lose your job. The economy really sucks for some of us right now. I lost my job in Dec. and I am looking for work. Thank goodness for unemployment while I am looking. It doesn't pay a whole lot but you can survive on it. Take it one day at a time and look for positive things in your life.
Take care,
Snow

Hi hypervigilant,

Sincerely hoping your name won't be on the layoff list. It is extremely trying on one's nerves while the waiting goes on. Hang in there as best you can.

Wishing you continued employment,
Calm
