This may seem confusing, but I literally don't know what my issue is. I can't figure out if I dislike interacting with people because I'm afraid and anxious or what another option would be.
Briefly about me: I make a living teaching guys how to meet and date women. I'm very good at what I do in terms of actions and what to say, but I do not enjoy almost any of it. That's the confusing part. I have no joy meeting new people (guys or girls). I'm always nervous about being found out for I don't know what, and I'm just about always on edge. I just want to find a way to enjoy interacting with people, but I think a lot of this is from feeling let down in my interaction again and again growing up by people who I thought were there for me. Does anyone have similar experiences? |

Yeah I can definitely trace my feelings of social uncomfortableness or feelings of inadequacy from my years growing up. I was constantly embarrassed in social situations by my older sister who was a bully and enjoyed taunting me in front of my friends and her friends. My mom put me on the spot a lot and forced me into situations she knew would make me very uncomfortable and she would often laugh at me or say very embarrassing things about me in front of other people. So I can relate!
But we have to realize that no matter what happened to us, or what embarrassed us, it's gone and it doesn't matter anymore. You're a new person every day that you wake up. This might just be your body's way of telling you to look for another job that might be more fulfilling. Maybe this job isn't meeting your standards or allowing you to live the life you know you want to live? Just a thought. Our mind is very clever when it comes to stopping us from doing the things we think we want to do, but really don't.
