if i let my mind wander chances are i'll end up crying. im so scared im going to have another panic attack like the one i had last week, except people will see it this time. my mom was yelling at me in the car and i felt trapped and when i finally got out i freaked out. i was left home alone, screaming and crying and vomiting and not really having any control over it. i dont that to happen again. it was so scary... My anxiety has been getting to the point where its hard to function normally. my medication doesnt work anymore and im really just sort of stuck.

I'm sorry you had this experience, izzyv11. A car is such an enclosed space to begin with... & then to have someone yelling at you in it must make the experience seem much worse. Medications do lose their effectiveness sometimes. Is it possible yours has, & you need a change?

I have tinnitus (ringing in the ears.) And I recall when it first started & how terrified & out of control I felt. It was an awful experience. I imagine what you are experiencing, in terms of anxiety, is something similar. I hope you can find the strength to persevere. I send you warm hugs to buoy you in your struggle.
Thanks for this!
