I've not being doing very well lately, and maybe thats why, but the past couple of days I've had a constant feeling of anxiety, knots in my stomach, mini panic attacks, it's horrible I feel like I could have the worst panic attach ever at any moment. I can't get rid of it , any advice would be greatly appreciated

so sorry this is happening to you.

how are you doing with your current coping methods. are they working?
is their something that's bothering you more than something else which you could perhaps talk about with a therapist or you want to talk about on here

do take care of yourself

hugs

EXERCISE!!!!! I walk three to five times a week and if I didn't I would need medication. Go out for a walk, do push ups. Find something you like to do and do it. I promise you will feel so much better.

I agree with K2tog, do anything you like doing (yoga, cooking, baking something delicious, exercising, painting, meditating, anything) to get your mind off of the anxiety. Anxiety gets worse because we think about it over and over again, it becomes like this snowball effect.

I also read something that said anxiety might be because of a low level of serotonin in our brains, serotonin is the "happy hormone" that makes us feel really good and like everything is okay. So doing things that you like to do, and trying to incorporate more activities that you love doing in your daily life will make you happier. Practice this every day though, because when you make it a part of your life to take a few hours out of your day to make yourself happy, then your anxiety could very well go down.

I sometimes up my meds ( with my doctors permission) or do something to shock my system. Sometimes a really cold shower for 5 mins changes things......
