On the weekend I had probably one of my worst panic/anxiety attacks ever. I was fighting with my bf and crying and then I couldn't breathe and was hyperventilating and he managed to calm me but I was almost throwing up it was that bad. I think I freaked him out a bit but he's great at calming me down. It was scary and I didn't even notice it coming. Now I think back to it its pretty blurry... I haven't had one for about 6 months or more so i'm not sure if they are returning or if its just a once off...

Ugh. Panic attacks are awful, aren't they? It doesn't necessarily mean your panic attacks are coming back, though. I have had a few bad one-off panic attacks since I have recovered... and they haven't returned on a regular basis. I try not to get too discouraged or scared about a relapse when I have one.

A fight with your boyfriend is very stressful and I'm not surprised it induced an attack if you're already prone to high anxiety. The same thing probably would have happened to me. This past summer an executive at my former workplace had a screaming hissy fit at me in my office and after she left I had a full-blown attack (hadn't had one that bad in many months). My panic attack symptoms are nausea, dizzyiness, shallow & fast breathing and a total inability to swallow, so I feel like I'm choking. It freaked me out, but afterwards, I put it down to the incredibly high and shocking emotion of the situation. I haven't had one that bad since then.

I hope yours is just a one-off, but it doesn't hurt to talk to your doc if you're concerned. Always best to nip these things in the bud. ((Hugs))
