It hurts so bad.

I'm Bipolar (ty2), on Sertraline and Quetiapine. Due to some unfortunate circumstances I had a 48 hour skip in my meds and I'm really struggling with the repercussions.

The anxiety is so bad, I feel like a black hole has swallowed me up. I've been mainly stable for a year now, its been a while since I have battled with certain demons so I don't feel like i'm prepared for this! I have so much work to do as well but I feel like it is overwhelming me to the extent where I've come up to that 'wall' which I can't seem to break through.

I'm mentally blocked.

Any ideas to help cope with this? I don't know what to do with myself in the mean time

Is there any hobby or something else that you enjoy that you could use to take your mind off of it until the meds kick back in? Even though, I know that it can be hard to get involved in something when you are feeling anxious, as I have that trouble.

Another trick I use is deep breathing exercises which seem to alleviate my anxiety to some extent. Here's a link to get you started: A breathing exercise that calms panic attacks.
It does take practice but it works.
