I am just two weeks out of a mental health facility and i am finding it really hard to adjust at home with my family again. My anxiety is worst than my depression, it was the other way around when i went in. If anyone has any tips or advice for just getting back into the real world i guess, or even things to do on a daily bases . Anything really would be nice. I have no support groups here so I am hoping this will help a little.

Hi stillstruggling and welcome to PC!

I've never been in your situation so I really don't have any suggestions for you. But I do know that you have found a very supportive and caring environment here at PC. I'm sure there are others who will have some good ideas for you.

I wish you well and hope you can find some peace at home soon.

Hugsss

Thank you very much for your welcome. I have nothing here so it is nice to have found a place to just vent what i am feeling. And i like that quote at the end, somtimes you feel as though the bad times last forever.
Thanks again

my anxiety problem is very new so i dont know much but i feel that getting up and doing stuff like hanging out with friends or just being part of society in general makes you feel better...for me at least it helps get the constant freaking out off your mind

I to am also new to this freakin anxiety......but thet say keeping busy takes the edge off of going over the edge. I have never been in a mental health facility before but there are times I should be.....I have a perscription for a anti depressant and I find since I have been taking it ...my anxiety got worse where as my depression got better or so it seems. Hang in there were here.
