So, I have been having anxiety to the point of vomiting and relentlessly so. At least i think its my anxiety. Hard to tell right now. Anyone get anxiety to the point it makes them physically sick.? Its crazy making! If this is my anxiety...ugh...i'd rather have the flu. Atleast that way i know it would pass.

hi Delusions

I'm sorry that you are feeling nauseous. I have not heard of this. as a side effect of anxiety. But I do know that anxiety can have an effect on the digestive system. Perhaps you should consult with your doctor and possibly have the anti-anxiety medication looked at. Are you in therapy? That can give really good skills for managing anxiety. Try to keep your mind busy doing things, especially enjoyable ones to take the focus away from problems. I hope and pray you feel much better soon. God bless and best wishes from your friend Francis

i just replied but don't know where it went. anyway, i was saying...

i have had anxiety to the point where i feel sick, but i haven't actually thrown up. it feels horrible.

avoid things (if you drink them) like coffee and energy drinks because it makes it worse.

I know that feeling. I think there was a point where I could only eat a meal a day because of nausea. What helped this was changing skmething. Doesn't have to be big. But it should be a de-stresser. Maybe a day off from something? Or a day for self care? Try these if you want. Make sure to drink water, too. I find that sometimes keeps the nausea at bay ^_^
