I'm not sure how this works but i am just ready to give up, i"m sure i have depression mixed with agoraphobia, but I also have a 5 year old to raise (alone) a job to maintain, and no family to support me. I have a family, just not one that I care to lean on. I find that my only outlet is alcohol because you don't have to go to a dr. or get a prescription for it. My relationship of 2 years is ending and I don't know where to find the strength to deal with it all!!! Somebody help

Things aren't as hopeless as they seem, I promise! First thing, if I were you, I'd call my County Mental Health Dept. and get an appointment with a counselor there. Tell him about your depression and agoraphobia. (They do go together many times.) Then tell him how you self medicate... then go to AA! You could easily slip into a self destruct mode if you don't take care of yourself really soon.
