Hi Ive been going through withdrawal and a very high anxiety episode for 8 weeks now. In the last few days Iv started to get a really strange symtom thats freaking me out. - If I do any activity (move around house clean etc) I get what feels like a spinning sensation at the top of my head like its spinning off. Also a nerve like pain over my left side of my head that seems to happen at same time. Ive tried to catch it before it gets too bad by lying down and doing breathing/relaxation exercises.
Has anyone else had this - is it a symtom of high anxiety? Also I got really weak today for no reason. Any help would be appreciated. W |

I experience pain on the left side of my face (eye, cheek, ear, mouth, tongue, etc - it's awful) and figure it's trigeminal neuralgia (started at a time of high anxiety 7 years ago with severe pain in the forehead - felt like burning spears going through my head).
Sometimes the stress is so intense that it feels like the pressure inside my head will burst my head or my ears. At the time it was anxiety/stress that brought all of this on. Have you been to a doctor to have this checked out? Do you maybe have an inner ear problem or seizures or something neurological? There are so many possibilities - best to have a doctor check it out. all the best to you |

hi thanks for replies - i did have a nasty bout of viral labyrinthitis (viral vertigo) that im assured will not return. I had an MRI and there was no damage from the virus at all.
Having the virus made me sooo frightened of being dizzy and im thinking that now its incorporated into my anxiety list of symtoms. |
