I've always read that OCD, and other disorders, may be caused by a serotonin imbalance. But what does that mean--that there's too much serotonin, or not enough? Thanks in advance.

Just like the tendency for depression might be inherited, so might OCD, for the same reasoning

Yeah, no one really knows what causes OCD. Or a lot of other mental illnesses, for that matter.
