I went to the eye doctor early today because I was suffering from a twitching right upper eyelid. While waiting I noticed I was getting really anxious. Not anxious to see the eye doctor but to get out. I noticed this while I was waiting to see my neurosurgeon for my spinal MRI results a while back. I also felt this anxiety when I went to the er too. But when I went to my primary doc for my follow-up a1c results my anxiety was almost nonexistent.

Also found out I was farsighted so I'm gonna need glasses which I pick up in a week.

Since you notice this about yourself, you could come up with some coping mechanisms to help you cope with these visits. Best wishes.

thats the issues. its really hard to cope with it while im there. The last time before (before the eyedoctor visit) I was at my new therapist (because my favorite therapist was out of network ) when we started talking, my right arm started getting tingly really bad. It was a creeping feeling. By later that night, I tried to sleep but couldnt because my anxiety went nuts. Various points in my body were going numb when I would try to fall asleep. I couldnt sleep till 2 nights later (counting the night in question). I had to force myself to sleep.
