My anxiety has been all over the place and I started to have non-safe thouhgts (not suicidal thouhgts, but close) so I took a trip to psychiatric ER this evening. They offered me two options:

1. To be admitted to psychiatric ward
2. To try a new medication and stay at home with the possibility to come back if things doesn't get better plus an extra doctors apointment on monday.

I chose the second one and feel a little calmer with that arangement. Plus my husband is aware of my thouhgts and will help me if things gets worse.

Just needed to vent.

Lergigan, it's a mild med without the risk of addiction since I fear taking valium wich I already take. I don't know if it's the meds or the fact that we made a plan that makes me calmer and I don't care as long as I'm calmer.

Anxiety over the roof today as well and new med did nothing so I went back to ER and met another doc. She gave me strict orders to take valium three times a day and more sleeping pills until I feel better. I absolutly hate those pills because they are addictive and makes me feel like I'm walking in cotton candy so that everything is totaly weird.
