I was wondering if others experience this.
Lately my anxiety has been so bad that I am always hot and sweating even when it's not that warm out. At night I lie awake for a long time with racing thoughts and it's too uncomfortable to even put the blanket on. Eventually after an hour or so I calm down enough to need the blanket. Is being so hot a sign of anxiety? Or maybe I'm getting hot flashes earlier than I ever thought I would; I'm almost 38.

I imagine that your sweating is caused by your anxiety. I've been experiencing trouble falling asleep due to racing thoughts as well as anxiety about the possibility of not waking up on time for my lectures. One of my other friends is 19 and experiences hot flashes and she suffers from anxiety, so it definitely makes sense to me as a possibility.

It happens to be quite often, especially if my anxiety gets worse.
Anxiety impacts your hormones hence the sweating. I know of other people who suffer the same problem.

I have this problem in relation to my anxiety as well. Before I started getting a better handle on it I was carrying around a mini fan everywhere.

How has it been since the original post date? Any relief of your symptoms?
