Hello,

My anxiety has recently gotten super worse. Everywhere I go I am hyper-vigilant about my surroundings, as in I wind up looking around me and cannot stop that feeling that something is about to go horribly wrong. The other day I looked in the mirror and did not even recognize myself because of the bags under my eyes and how scared I actually looked.

With the social anxiety tacked onto my GAD, every time I step outside I have this constant feeling of hyper-vigilance even in rooms that I typically feel comfortable in and know that everything will be fine.

Has anyone else felt this way? I'm even looking around me as I'm typing this

I have felt like that ... I’m actually feeling like that now as in constantly keyed up or on edge.... then it manifests in different ways... for you it’s being super aware of your surroundings, for me Ibbecome super aware of any physical sensations (health anxiety).... they are both results of the same thing though.... you are not alone

That's good to know that someone else is dealing with the same thing, it's hard to explain how much stress this puts on me.

Oh don’t worry I know ... the stress is palpable and that makes things worse... it’s a negative cycle. Today I feel the same and struggling with myself...I am really trying to keep bringing my mind back to the moment instead of letting it wander out to problems.

Still having this problem, hopefully my Psychiatrist can figure out the best medication combination to help my anxiety and depression, looking forward to the brighter days.
