My husband and I are leaving for a "reunion" party for a company that we worked for 12-15+ years ago. There has been little left of it for many years, it's a shell/investment thing now, not the company any of the people there tonight know as "the" company we worked for. My husband worked in the higher management levels for 15+ years there (so the clock he received that we still have in our living room says :-) it's his "main" job he had over the years. I was in a subsidiary mostly and only know most of these people from having dated my husband (he was my boss Ugh, party ) and having them as his friends or even other types of bosses of me. It will be fun I think as they were a fun/party group but we don't even know who all are coming, how many there will be, etc. It's a bit like going to a school reunion. When I met the President of the company, back in 1986 at a board member party (my husband's "date") I fell down Ugh, party Ugh, party Ugh, party but didn't spill my beer Ugh, party was very graceful at falling down. But that's about the only way the old President "knows"/would remember me? Lots of these people knew my husband's ex-wife too, before I came along, etc. So, I'm kind of nervous.

How did it go, Perna?

I hope you managed to stay on your feet AND not spill any beer. Ugh, party)

That would be a little awkward about the ex-wife, but they've had a lot of time to forget about her now.

I hope you had a lot of fun!

Did you survive, Perna? Was it fun, boring, excruciating?
