dying in my sleep.

the one way I really really really don't want to go.

I'll take any other way in the world- anything, but that

really scares me dying and not knowing about it

if I die I want to know

I am afraid of dying at home. I live alone, just me and my dog. Don't talk to many people so not like anyone would find me for a long time. I worry about my dog. Who will feed him? Will he starve? Would he eat his mama? Oh my god its horrible to think about.

I most certainly hope that when I die I'll die in my sleep. That's the perfect way to go. Dying of cancer, Parkinson's, alzheimers or other horrible maladies is what really scares me.

I think this is a legit fear to have, of death and the unknown and its easy to get carried away thinking about it. But try to focus on today, and the positives in your life. Easier said than done, I know.

Man, I’ve been in that place where I’m afraid I’m going to die in my sleep (my pulse slowed when I wasn’t eating after my husband passed away, plus I was hiking mountains—I kept sensing skipped heart beats).

Then I declined to where I went to bed hoping not to wake up.

I have felt both ways about it.

Now I just don’t want to think about it.
