Waking up in middle of night, can't sleep, everything is bothering me...I had a stuffy nose, I start walking around until it clears, then lay down, then something else will bother me. Its like a feeling where I need to get out from where I am, as if I want to go outside and get in my car and drive around. I get to the point where I have tears in my eyes and I need to get out of my skin or something????

Its a feeling where I can't take it anymore and the darkness is closing in on me and I need to get out of this house, I feel trapped. It scares me because I can see how people commit suicide now.

Has anyone experienced this? is it anxiety?

Sounds like anxiety to me, but with a darker twist, so I'd say some depression is mixed in there as well.

sorry we cant tell you what this is in you. we can tell you what this is in ourselves and those we know...

in me this is a panic attack
in one of my siblings this is menopause
in a friend of mine this is bipolar/ mania
in another friend this is a sleep disorder
in another relative this is PTSD

to find out what this is inside you, you will need to contact your own treatment providers (a medical doctor, or therapist or psychiatrist....) they will be able to diagnose and get you treated for what ever it is in you.

Are you safe? Should you call your doctor?

I just want to get in car and drive away. I am controlled by everyone and everything. I just want to be free.

Honey, if you feel like crying, please cry. It is an emotion and every emotion has the right to be expressed. Maybe crying will make you feel light. Maybe you're going through overthinking. I think you should try to stay in present as much as possible.

Yeah, that may be anxiety/depression. Do you see a doctor?

Have you considered looking for social groups in your area who identify as having depression? You may gradually form a friendship circle this way. For me it was a private hospital...I formed friendships, but was initially extremely anxious with sever isolation, depression, social anxiety..etc. I'm not sure if you have tried either of these suggestions, but small steps and safe people who 'get it' help

no xanax is not hard to get if you go through a doctor or psychiatrist. america is cracking down on opiods. Xanax is not an opiod but many addicted to opiods add Xanax to it. so doctors and psychiatrist limit how many pills a person gets at a time and then the person has to see their doctor again.

here in America we have many meds that are on a list called ..... controlled substances.

this does not mean they are hard to get from a doctor. just means legally you cant take it with out a prescription and when you have a prescription you will have only so many before you have to see your doctor again....

example if your doctor writes the prescription up for just one night you may only get 1 or 2 pills, then you have to see your doctor again

another example if your doctor writes the prescription up for 30 pills taken once a day then in a month (30 days) you have to see your doctor again to get more.

my suggestion is if you want some xanax or you have run out of your xanax contact your doctor. they will be able to evaluate whether they want you to be on xanax and how often and if so give you a prescription for your pharmacist to give you.

tip for not running out of medications that are on the controlled substance listing.... when you get down to about a weeks supply contact the doctors office for an appointment. that way your new prescription will be ready when your old one runs out.

Definitely sounds like anxieties to or even panic attacks for that matter,I do get like that sometimes I have restless leg syndrome and believe me there are times when I do get stuffed up and I start to gag. I do gag very easily.I also suffer from gerd and believe me there are times when I cannot sleepI get anxious and have to get up and sit in my rocker watch music channels and sometimes I will fall asleep in my rocker, can you get comfortable in a chair?? Watch something that you really like sometimes I can fall asleep by doing that and to many times I have not.It can get to be very annoying and frustrating.
