I ponder this as I make yet another trip to the washroom to be sick. My new job is the present source of distress.

Other physical symptoms include shaking, difficulty breathing, and stomach trouble/diahhrea (too much info I know). All of these greatly impact my daily life.

I realise I am not alone here; that many of us experience some sort of physical reaction to triggers.

Care to share?

Right now I don't have anything specific that triggers the way I am feeling. It's been an everyday thing for a few weeks now. Shortness of breath, having to clear my throat often, jittery. Sometimes more activity makes the jitterness worse. Going back to the doctor today. I just keep pushing on.

I too suffer from a dodgy tummy that's my main complaint. I also gets the shakes and very very very sweaty hands. I get the sweats too in general like on my forehead. I think that's all I get though. I never get sickness or dizziness. So I'm thankful for that

Going to have a PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) next week to try and figure out the shortness of breath issue. Also trying Zoloft again.

Hi to all.
Anxiety and panic attacks are pretty new to me. Due to a racing heart, shakiness, fuzzy brain, stomach upset and sudden weight loss, I had my thyroid checked and discovered I have Hyperthyroidism. I was given Propranolol at the start. Once my thyroid med kicked in, I stopped the Propranolol and now have a very low dose of Ativan that is helping with the anxiety attacks. Perhaps some of this information could be useful to others of you.

Thanks everyone.

I am losing weight with all this nonsense. Doing it this way isn't a good thing though.

My pdoc has recommended a tea with valarian root which helps me but only in the evening as I dare not take it - or my PRN - during the day (I am working at a construction site right now and not being a hundred percent on my game presents a very real danger to my safety). I simply can't afford to be even a little bit 'slow' as such things would make me.

My T has been less helpful telling me just to think positively. "Are these (Negative) thoughts being helpful?" Good lord, I would love to see her try to live my life.

I have physical symptoms, mostly muscle tension (headaches and neck pain) and this feeling like I can't breathe. Have gotten some help with the former with biofeedback and some breathing / mindfulness type stuff that was taught to me by T who focuses on stuff like this. But the breathing symptom has made things harder. He also taught me progressive muscle relaxation, which helps a bit.

I just posted in hope of finding tips to stop the horrible symptoms... I get really dizzy and cannot see straight! Almost like I'm not conscious and am about to faint that and a sudden need to either vomit or ***** myself lol ugh.
I have a serious fear of the dentist.. I had to take my 10 year old for her first filling and I almost did all of the above. So tough when I'm trying to raise children anxiety free!!!
