I was terrified about going to the dentist. My lamictal is causing teeth issues. I had an appointment for the start of October but it got switched to today. For 4 weeks I was panicking. I was worried I would have a ton of cavities. But the dentist told me I didn’t have any cavities. She told me to just watch my brushing along the gum line since my gums were bleeding a bit. She was being really rough with the cleaning and I sort of cried a bit. Not a lot but like a tear slipped down and I rubbed my face trying to get her not to see it. She asked me if I was crying and I said no and she asked if she was hurting me and I said no. It was really embarrassing but she just does a really throughly job. I think I may have freaked them out a bit with how I responded. They seemed really concerned by my behavior.
I’m just glad I don’t have any cavities. I was worried it would interfere with me enjoying the holidays the way it did in 2015. I go back at the end of November. She’s going to make me a night guard because I am clenching my teeth but besides that I am good for a few months and then I go back for another cleaning.

Glad it went well. It could be your gums were sensitive and that's why the cleaning hurt. As you get better at cleaning them, it will get better. Congrats on a good report!
