One link I have linked to here says you should just wait for the episode to end. But the idea just doesn't sit well for me.

What else would you want to do?
Like Mickey said, you use the coping techniques that are described in the link. If you read the full article, there's some very useful tips in it. I think it's more focused on knowing that it WILL end. |

BTW, if I can't get myself to get excited over stuff, I guess that I could relax myself at least?

OK, so the problem for me now is that while I could make myself a little bit comfortable, I can't fully relax my brain.

For some reason, my own technique of "out-of-context relaxation" (relaxing myself without minding whether my anxiety is there or not) doesn't even seem to work.
