I feel dizzy, shaky and exhausted. It's hard to accept it's anxiety, but my doctors and therapists say that it is. It's hard to function in my life like I used to. Do meds really help? I'm being told CBT will help too. Progressive relaxation and breathing sometimes make me feel worse. Please share your symptoms! Thanks.

For my anxiety I get stomach cramps, and a sense of doom. That sense of something very bad is going to happen but you don’t know what. Worst feeling in the world in my opinion. While I am on an SSRI that’s supposed to help with both depression and anxiety it’s not very good with the anxiety I have. I’ve found that guided mediation has helped decrease it by 90%. I still have it but it’s not nearly as horrible as it used to be. I tried online CBT and it was okay
Thanks for this!

Thank you! I'm on Buspar, which doesn't seem to help, and recently started Celexa, so I'm not sure about it yet. I've tried guided imagery and meditations. Which ones in particular do you find helpful? I listen to some of Belle Ruth Napersak, and I like Glenn Howard (I think that's his name). They don't always work though. I was anxious for the entire day today, for example. Didn't leave my house. It just messes up my life!

I YouTube guided meditation. My 2 favorites are meditation vacation and Jason Stephenson. I also use the free guides on the app calm but don’t really have the money to pay for the subscription
Thanks for this!
