Last November, not long after they finally lifted the COVID restrictions in this country my husband and I both got some sort of respiratory infection. They were slowly reopening his office and a guy that came into the office had been coughing. He thinks that may be how he got it. Anyways, we had asked for that week off, so we just stayed home and ordered grocery delivery. We live in a sort of rural area and the pharmacies aren't always well stocked. It didn't make sense to go driving around to try and find some tests, potentially spreading germs. Knowing one way or the other wouldn't make any real difference, and it was a relatively mild infection. We were fine after 4 days or so with no lingering effects.

I have something but not more than a cold so far so I don’t see the need to test myself since I wear the mask to avoid pestering others than my partner lol!
I don't think I will bother. Last time I had bad symptoms it wasn't covid. I have had respiratory symptoms for weeks and haven't bothered to get tested. I also had some body aches that could have been covid. I also had some dizzy spells that are like the covid I had. But I miss a whole day of work with covid and this was so mild that I didn't miss any work.

I don’t think I will bother either. Another story would be if I had contact with people on a daily basis or I had to be in contact with health compromised people.

Lots of people don;t know they have it until they go to the hospital for something else then get tested. They also know it's going around when the water supply gets tested for covid. Most people are just treating it like the common cold now.

Luckily, covid-19 became little more than the flu but still some elderly and health compromised people have to be cautious.

It’s incredible but it all has be gotten in a record time.

I’m not strange, Disco. If I remember well, it was @AceRimmer the one who rose up this topic here about being high the number of people who lose their lives every year because of the flu.

I sometimes have a flu vaccine shot but I always got sick so I didn’t vaccinated anymore.
