The kid with cancer, daughters best friend, parents our closest friends, she is at a far away hospital now flown by chopper for internal bleeding. I am so anxious and frightened I can't stand it. she is so ill. I can do nothing. I feel like the world is imploding on my head.

I wish I had some magic words of comfort, but all I can say is that you are in my thoughts and my prayers. I don't know how we ever can understand it when life is so incredibly unfair, but I do know that this child and her parents are lucky to have such a compassionate and caring friend in their lives.
