Happy Monday all! Trying to eat less without making it an obsession

Last week someone commented on how many calories was in the bowl of cereal I was about to eat after I'd put a little honey on it.
I covered it up and put it in the fridge.

Last weekend(Saturday) I cooked some stuff in advance, put it in small bags from the craft store and froze it.

I bought THE WRITING DIET at a book sale Friday and so far it's helpful. The person I mentioned above doesn't want me to gain weight, which I appreciate but it'll take some undoing-I have been overeating quite a bit.

Thoughts appreciated!

Whenever I start something new I am terrified that it will become an obsession. I'm not sure how but I think being aware that it's a possibilty helps me fight something thats becoming an obsession. Good luck losing weight it's such a hard thing to do. Trying to eat less without making it an obsession

Thanks-I've lost 13.5 lb. and want to lose about another 29 so I can look hot for summer in my one-piece suit! I never was a bikini gal-I felt like I was wearing my underwear in public!

isnt that what swim suits practically are? underwear? lol i always wear shorts and t shirts over my swim suit even in the water cuz i feel uncomfortable in just a bathing suit. I only ever swim in lakes tho. i dont think they allow you to wear clothing over your swim suits in public swiming pools.

I really like Win the Fat War, a book of 145 individuals' ways they lost weight, put together by a Prevention magazine editor. It's exciting to me to read other people's ideas and compare them to mine or adapt them and helps keep me motivated.
