why is it so hard while your having an anxiety/panic attack, to rationalize the thoughts, but when your day seems to be going ok and you have that passing thought you can sometimes forget about it, or it doesnt cause a panic/anxiety attack? i guess what my question is, why do the passing thoughts cause anxiety some of the time but not all? does anyone here know what i am expierencing?

i know what your saying. Anxiety likes to sneak up on you, and when your fine you might think you will stop it in its tracks next time, but sometimes it just hits you so fast you lose all your thinking for coping mechanisms n such.

When you need the coping mechanisms the most is when you cannot remember them! why is it so hard to...

Your mind has gone into full panic mode...
