does anyone else lay down at night and see a slideshow of disturbing images (rape, torture, murder, scary animals etc) and raise up panicking? i take sleep aid. dr says im just sensitive. its really scary. anyone?

I do something similar however I don't think mine is as severe, usually I just see bad things happening and panic, I do this almost every night. Sometimes it only takes one image and I panic.

i do the same thing, it started before i started taking a sleep aid. it is very frightening.

I had a long period with terrible nighttime images and thoughts. I do not have any good suggestions for dealing with them -- except if possible (yeah, sure) to try to examine them for what they mean. My experiences were too powerful for me to really do that at the time. I just survived.

Maybe you can do better.
