<font color="purple">Well same stuff as yesturday. Went to bed feeling a bit anxious so went up with my BF early. Thought since I haven't been sleeping well for a week or so now that this would be good. But I woke up what it felt like was 20 times throughout the night and this morning.

Woke up anxiety ridden again but I handled it better then yesturday morning.

Haven't had caffiene in 9 days, no coffee or tea, or coke for that matter... which is odd for me because coffee I NEED once in the morning, but don't feel like it now that I've been without it for so long. Need that extra boost though.

I'm tired of being tired.
I'm tired of feeling like ***** every morning. Another bad morning
I don't know if it's anxiety, the Effexor or both.

Im on Effexxor myself and always feel tired. I also suffer from heavy anxiety but looking back didnt notice it causing tiredness. Although I suppose being stressed from the anxiety could be causing sleep problems. Tell your doctor about your sleep troubles and take some light medication to help with it. There are a bunch of non-addicting medications you can try like Gabitril or Mirtazapine, both arent used commonly for sleep aid but work pretty well and dont knock you out but rather give you a higher quality of sleep.

Feeling sleepy all the time really sucks though! Good Luck with it.

I just got off Mirtazipine actually, that's where the heavy withdrawal was coming from.

I didn't sleep well again....

Might call my shrink up and see what she thinks.
She's told me in the past to get out of bed and do something, instead of laying in bed all night tossing and turning.

I haven't slept good in like a week now. Blah.
And I haven't even had any caffiene to help me out 10 days without it, and that is abnormal for me considering that I always had to have my coffee in the morning.

I don't want to take sleeping pills, don't like mixing meds together.
Been on tranqulizers before, didn't like them.
Been on Mirtazipine like I said for 8 months, and since that was out of my system I haven't been able to sleep. It could be the Effexor.

Im sure its a combination of coming of Mirtazipine - Effexxor and Caffiene. Shutting off your caffiene intake could actually cause sleep disruptions during the withdrawl period, or so I have heard. Maybe in another week or so you will start sleeping better naturally. Do you excersise? Yoga or meditate? That can also help you sleep better.
