i have a open question to ask...recently i had Scombroid Poisoning from some tuna i ate...(wow is this a scary thing) and some of the symptoms of this poising are very panic attack/ heart attack like...well being that i just found out i was going to be a dad, this really scared me as i want to be there for my child growing up, so now i would go to the doctor and get antibiotics, which seemed to help, but each night my stomach cramps up which also made me nervous, so each night i worried about my health, as it took 3 weeks to find out what i had, now i am relieved to know what i had should be gone, but i think this made me nervous/anxious at night and i think that me thinking about it is giving me stomach aches, last night is when i found out about what it was i had 3 weeks ago so i guess im asking what is the best way to get over this scare that has haunted me for 3 weeks, as i now know i am going to be ok and i am now fine.

I wish I could help. But I have no idea. I've never been good at getting over anxious feelings without medication. I'm sure there is someone on here who couold give you some good advice.

I am sure this was very frightening for you. I would guess this is situational and will likely leave on its own. If not then you would need to talk to Dr. if it persists or gets worse. You could try relaxation techniques as you are trying to go to sleep. There are a bunch of different ones and a quick search would probably turn some up quickly. Or someone will likely give you an url directly to a site soon.

I hope you are feeling better soon.

Take care.
