Good Morning,

Last night had a few beers and then was feeling sleepy so I drank Red Bull around 9pm. Bad idea. At midnight wide awake and wanting to go to sleep. Did not have to get up early so I took a Ambien, that put me to sleep until 5am when I was wide awake again.

Call me crazy so I had a beer and was able to go back to sleep. Woke up feeling slightly anxious, but pretty good overall. Today we celebrate our Thanksgiving since I had to work on Thursday. Should be fun. I hope you all have a great day.

J

it sounds like the beers mixed with meds makes you sleepy were the red bull as its more of a stimulant did the oposite, it might be worth talking to your doc about the sleeping problems you are having

that red bull, man. well, i don't know about you, but the energy drinks really, really mess with me. you know that one, "rock star"? a few years ago when i was teaching my students (freshmen) were drinking it all the time, partly because it was in all the vending machines. so i drank it too for a while, because in spite of being nearly twice their age i'm not any smarter. it made me incredibly wired and then incredibly exhausted.
