My therapist recently researched biofeedback software for me to try to manage my stress. I did some additional research and bought the product she had recommended, but thought I'd share the research with you:

This isn't the one my shrink told me about, but it looks good:
lifematters.com/biogsr2_systems.asp

This one looks like it would be more 'fun', since they incorporated a game into it:
www.elixa.com/mental/MentalGames.htm

And this is the one my shrink had read about:
www.wilddivine.com/20J3K4K1/
... seems a little, um, out-there but I think it's the one I'm going to try, even though it's not the least expensive.

by the way, the Wild Divine product is much cheaper on Amazon:

That's so fascinating...have you tried it yet?

I would love to try something like that but it's alittle pricey for me right now. I do meditate but I wouldn't mind at all having somekind of extra help from software! It sounded like fun to me.

Don't forget to report after you've tried it Biofeedback software?

Hi Soledad:
I've only tried it a few times so far and for only a few minutes at each time. The problem, for me, is that this one is supposed to be a 'video game'. Meaning, you're supposed to meander around through this labyrinth thing until you find the 'objects' that you can practice biofeedback with. Ironically, this makes me more stressed out than before -- I want to rush and find the objects and get it over with! I don't have nearly enough free time to spend playing video games and just want to move on to the relaxation part!

But then again, maybe that's EXACTLY why I need it! Biofeedback software?
