Because of all of the sexual abuse I've went through, I'm so terribly nervous around people. It seems to grow stronger everyday. I'm failing school because I never go because I just freak out when I'm around people. I have been told that it will get better over time, but it seems to get worse everyday. I cant stand this anymore.

Are you receiving therapy or speaking with a counselor about this on an on-going schedule until it does get easier<>

It seems like you might be slipping through the cracks if that is all the advice you have received.

What it sounds like you are asking is... do you need support and some therapy to help you get beyond this point and to begin healing ... because you are 'stuck' where you are at... and I think, most definitely yes... that you are most deserving of special care and attention.

Peace and Much Support to you, Dear Person,
Nightbird
I didnt know it could get this bad.

What do you mean 'My Therapist quit? Then........Why not see who takes over?

Yes I know it might be hard to see someone else but if that's all you have then Why! Not! give it a go!

Just give it a try and take each day as it comes.....I hope your new therapist is alot more understanding about your issues.

Who knows! maybe it's what was needed for you.........in the here and now!

My therapist quit the mental health center that I was going to, so she's no longer a therapist anymore. I may try someone new, I was just really used to my old T and I liked her alot. I dont want to get attached to another therapist and then the same thing happen all over again.
