just wondering if anyone else found it made you feel zoned out, would wear off quickly and then cause a headache and my main one of concern slightly "trip" out or hallucinate a little...ive stopped taking it anyway i was just curious, im getting my pdoc to prescribe me something different when i see her next week...

I have been taking Ritalin for about 10 years. I did try the slow release version and hated it. I do experience headaches now when I take a whole pill (prescribed). I cut them in half and only take half the dosage 2x's day. Doesnt work as well. I will be switching meds soon. The headaches are terrible!

Nope. I never had those side effects with Ritalin.

thanks for replying i couldnt handle the headaches they were crap! Im glad i wasn't on it long enough to have to taper off it! Gooduck with the med switch justsimplify, hopefully we both have better luck

I have adhd and I wanna know should I start off with a anti depressant or a adhd med Iam new at this.

anti depressant are no help with ADHD as far as i know, so an ADHD med is your best option

oh after my ritalin would wear off i'd have to WORST headache. and i'd be shaky. switching to concerta helped me a ton
