It's funny as it's not that I don't love food, in fact I love food! I love trying new foods from different places but I'm bad at eating healthy at home. I don't have set meal times, I hardly eat breakfast *not much of a morning person*, and it seems I'm a target of the "lost of appetite" side-effect off most or all ADD medications! I actually would like to eat better. I've tried to diet healthier foods, um lets not think of "diet" as in trying to lose weight, I want a healthier diet because I like to be heathy. The week or so in the time I pick it up and keep up with it I feel great. I feel like I did back in high school! I'm tired of having no drive or having the drive and then not having the drive to do anything!
I'm a 5'5", 111lbs. *always been underweight*, feel like she is lazy and knows she can be different 35 year old who it fed up with this! I only get off my butt and do anything about things when pushed but have a feeling that isn't the real me.

Oh, yeah, a bad diet is not good for anyone. I am trying to improve my diet, too. I like hamburgers and French fries too much.

A bad diet can certainly impact your mental health. I feel like a broken record on this site trying to get through to people that they being physically healthy will affect your mental health. But not many seem to believe how much of an impact it can have.
I have seen people diagnosed with ADD or ADHD whos symptoms completely disappear with a change in diet. It really is the first thing pdocs should be looking at before prescribing medications. |
