For so long I have been telling myself I hate my brain. It makes me so frustrated when I am reading and speaking. I most hate because it has screwed up my social life. ADD has cause me to fall behind in my developmental skills which caused a deficit in social skill development. It makes it hard for me to communicate because I can't process info that well. Short term memory sucks, too. Maybe I should hate ADD for screwing up my brain and love my brain.

Some of us think that ADD is not a learning disability but a learning difference. There are lots of very successful people with that "extra feature"... Find ways to successfully live with ADD, multisensorial learning is an option, have you hear of it? NLP is another resource that can surprise you a little.
ALL things that happen to us for the most part can either help us become a better person, or can make us throw the towel. YOU CAN DEAL with this, God wouldn't have given it to you unless you could.
Hung in there, check out multisensorial learning techniques and go for it buddy!
