I just started adderall 30 mgs; already on a cocktail of other meds lamictal 100 mgs, effexor 75 mgs (titrating up), lithium 50 mgs titrating down and trileptal 75 mgs (titrating down). I love the way it helps my cognitive thinking; I actually feel human, sort of. The other half of the story is the extreme anxiety it causes; from the moment I started it I have extrreme nausea all day and nothing I have taken has helped it, I have been not able to sit down for more than 10 minutes, no sleep at all, when trying to sleep I can't stop playing with my tongue moving it around in my mouth, I constantly have to swallow, I am a social smoker very infrequently; the first day I smoked a half of pack and had extreme cravings for alcohol. Are these extreme effects normal?

I just started Adderall today. My doctor started me on 10 mg for a week, then twenty for a week, then thirty. Did you start at thirty or wean into it?
I am on other meds as well. My doctor told me to watch for anxiety attacks and have one of my other medications with me.

Also how long have you been on it? Do the side effects outweigh the benefits? Talk to your doctor.

There are times the Adderall gives me a belly ache too but I find taking it after I've eaten a few crackers or a meal helps a great deal with the nausea.
