My pdoc just put me on Ritalin for ADD. I didn't want it without a diagnosis from the psychologist she referred me to but I'm kind of falling apart at work without something changing and she says I have enough signs that it's worth the experiment for a few days. I guess I'm desperate enough to try it right now.

I hope the Ritalin is helpful for you. I am taking Vyvanse for ADHD-like symptoms and find it very helpful.

[quote=sunrise;907389] Try to see the pdoc again 2 weeks or less after starting the Ritalin (this is wise when starting any new med). Maybe you will need to discontinue or have the dosage adjusted.
quote] Thanks. I have an appointment set up for two weeks from the last one and she said to call if ithe meds weren't working or if I got side effects. I tried to call today but apparently everyone's still out of the office for New Year's. Grrr... I don't think she works on Mondays, so I guess I'm waiting till Tuesday. |
