What are everyday strategies you use to fight your symptoms? Not looking for advice on medication as have chosen not to take that route. Looking for practical tips on how to get more focused and organized.
Also, what about relationships with partners, friends and coworkers? What are ways to improve them and become more aware without going on medication? Thanks so much. |

I know of stratgies Peace. I can't foucus well enough to do them .I kid you not. gonna go try to brush my hair . I didn't do it yesterday. I may have thought about it but something else in my mind took over . Thats just the way it is with me all day long. I believe gonna have to have drugs. Ill be lucky to make it to the gym by noon to shower May take a half an hour to find a hair brush so lets shoot for 12:30 for good measre 1:00. good thing my customers are flexibale . they let me show up when I show up. on the specified day. maybe i the sauna Ill try to think of three thigs I can do today to make my life productive. But thats the time I try to clear my mind and just lounge it. ![]() |

Designated area for keys, wallet, jumpdrives, etc.
If I don't have specific places to put certain work or everyday items, then I end up spending hours running around looking for them. It is incredibly hard but I force myself to a brainless routine of enter then house put your key here!

I agree with Chaotic, a habit of using the same place for the keys wallet and cell phone works for me.
Another thing that helps me get out the door with stuff i absolutely need to take with me the next day i will park it in front of the door so i can't miss it. That way my pile of stuff in front of the door does the remembering for me.

I too agree with Chaotic. I make lists, put everything together by the door. and try to stay on a routine....now...that being said i dont just get up and go. i double and triple check all that i had ready. i noticed that if i get things ready and make a list while doing so. i just check the list and walk out the door.
seems to work for me.....for now that is lol.... Colleen
