Here's the quiz: Aspie-quiz

I took it and got
"Your Aspie score: 124 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 81 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie"

And here's the picture that goes along with it... Can someone explain this pic to me? What does it mean?
Aspie Quiz

Thanks

Oh, and please feel free to share your results

The right half of the circle is "aspie" and the left is "NT". Honestly it seems like an overly-confusing way to display the data. But if you compare how far from center the points are for opposing attributes (like comparing "aspie perception" to "NT perception") you can see how much more aspie-like you are than NT-like for that attribute.

Please be warned not to but so much stock in these online quizzes... you should really see a professional if you want to find out if you are aspie or not. Good luck, hope that was helpful.
Thanks for this!

Yeah I know that I shouldn't rely on the online quizzes. I'm getting a therapist soon, so I think I'll talk to her a bit about it. Thank you

I'm not an Aspie, but I do have Schizotypal PD which supposedly has similar traits to Aspergers; so my results made sense.

Your Aspie score: 102 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 113 of 200
You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits

I haven't taken this quiz for maybe a year or two. I wonder if my result has changed much. I question my diagnosis sometimes.

Ok, so here's mine, although I have only the slightest clue what it means. Especially the NT part. Is this a good score or a bad score? Or whatever. You know what I mean, right?

You have to compare each trait between left (NT) and right (aspie). So in "communication" your aspie score is 5.75 and your NT score is 4.5 - not sure why that adds up to more than 10, maybe the NT score is supposed to be 4.25 but it looks higher than that to me.

If you understood the graphical representation and not the overall meaning then I apologize for that the previous paragraph, just trying to help and based on your post it seems you might not have understood the graph, which is kind of a silly way to display the results in my opinion.

But contact-wise you are not aspie at all. I guess that means you have no problems with hugs / shirt tags / soft touch / etc.? I've taken it as well and I agree that they could do a much better job of explaining results.

I haven't done this test in a long time. It was a lot different than the previous one I took. My score went up 10 points even though I made sure to answer each question carefully and honestly. It must have been recalibrated.

Your Aspie score: 159 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 63 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

What does respecting authority have to do with Asperger's? I don't get the connection between it and morals. We can be really rigid but it isn't limited to morals.

Thanks, nowheretohide! It's a great explanation, and you got it right - I know nothing about the graph or anything else for that matter. And about the contact - you're about right again. I do have a problem with shirt tags or shirts that are bunched up when I tuck them in - you know? But something may have helped with the touch thing. Hugs are still a little iffy.

I took up dancing - West Coast Swing, to be exact. It's a dance which combines precision with artistic expression. This has helped with both my clumsiness and my contact issues. But it's been a long journey and I still struggle with both at times.

I haven't been diagnosed as yet, so I wonder if this means I am not Aspie after all? It's kind of a twilight zone here. It seems I may not be enough of one yet exist in both. I suppose it could be the best of both worlds if I look at it the right way.

Thanks again for your help, nowheretohide!

Well you can definitely have some aspie traits and not be diagnosable with aspergers. I'm not diagnosed either but I feel like I have significant aspie traits... but like you I don't really know for sure if it's that or I'm just weird/quirky/crazy in my own way...

Your quiz results (which are very far from conclusive evidence of anything at all) do indicate you MAY have aspie tendencies (in case you can't tell I don't really trust this quiz so much). As long as you are doing well, are happy, etc. then that is all that really matters and I wouldn't concern yourself with it. If you are a "little bit aspie" and you're happy with who you are then I would definitely agree with the best of both worlds thing

I took this a year ago when it was version 2 (the current version is version 3) and it had slightly different parameters and a few questions were different. Still, in both versions, I scored approximately 105 in both categories with Aspie traits being just a few points higher. Sometimes it was as little as 1 point. Other times it was as many as 15. If I can find the pdfs, I'll post the more detailed results.

^ Can't edit that post for whatever reason, so here we go.

I retook it today and got the following (version 3):
Your Aspie score: 101 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 97 of 200
You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits
http://www.rdos.net/eng/poly12d.php?...&p11=60&p12=51

Breakdown:
Aspie talent: 5.0 of 10 (high score related to AS and OCD)
Neurotypical talent: 5.8 of 10 (low score related to dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADD/ADHD)
Aspie perception: 5.0 of 10 (no direct relation, but autistics often have differences in perception)
Neurotypical perception: 7.4 of 10 (low related to dyspraxia)
Aspie communication: 5.0 of 10 (no direct, high related to stimming and unusual communication)
Neurotypical communication: 6.1 of 10 (low related to ASC)
Aspie connection: 2.2 of 10 (high is related to paraphilias)
Neurotypical connection: 2.9 of 10 (no direct, low related to failures to connect to people)
Aspie social: 3.6 of 10 (none)
Neurotypical social: 3.5 of 10 (none)
Aspie attachment: 6.0 of 10 (high related to attachment disorders)
Neurotypical attachment: 4.9 of 10 (low related to intimacy problems)

This is what I got last time I took it in version 2:
Your Aspie score: 105 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 92 of 200
You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits

Breakdown:
Aspie talent: 7.8 of 10 (above average) (high is related to giftedness)
Neurotypical talent: 4.3 of 10 (average) (low seems to be related to ADD/ADHD)
Aspie compulsion: 5.6 of 10 (average) (high is related to OCD)
Neurotypical compulsion: 2.4 of 10 (below average)
Aspie social: 4.8 of 10 (average) (high is related to ADD, ADHD, ODD, and bipolar)
Neurotypical social: 4.0 of 10 (average) (low is related to social phobia)
Aspie communication: 6.2 of 10 (average) (high is sometimes related to Tourette's)
Neurotypical communication: 4.6 of 10 (average) (low is related to autism spectrum conditions)
Aspie hunting: 5.5 of 10 (average)
Neurotypical hunting: 7.6 of 10 (above average) (low is related to dyslexia and dyscalculia)
Aspie perception: 3.9 of 10 (average)
Neurotypical perception: 7.6 of 10 (above average) (low is related to dyspraxia)
Environment: 4.0 of 10 (average) (high is usually required to get a diagnosis)

I don't like version 3. o_ò
