There's a Meetup (the site) group about horror films. I'm stuck in pending mode. The organizer (i.e. who is in charge) won't take me out of pending mode, and also keeps on blocking my messages. Is something wrong here?

I've never done a thing wrong. In fact, when I was a member before, I filled in all the red tape correctly, and did not go to much events, but I still did.

It's okay. She declined me (or passed judgement) because I told her things about myself months ago, which was highly stupid of me. It's my own fault. Nobody has to know about my 'criminal past' anyway. By telling people way too much personal information when they could probably care much less is asking for trouble. It has the same effect as wearing one of those 'kick me' signs.

Human beings are a fickle species, as I've had to learn the hard way. How would she feel if I said she was a disease-ridden hooker? That's a horrible accusation. Well, not allowing me into a group because I'm supposedly this and that, is also an implied accusation.

I said I'd been in jail before. So for the "safety" of her group, I was declined entry. She also hides the details of her events for non members. It's unfair, but it's her decision. She's the face that runs the place. If I ever see her in person though, I'll have a thing or two to blast her way.

But truth be told...I'm tired of people treating me like I carry the plague. If I saw them in person and they said I was a beast, I'd explode. Just because you get charged with something you know you didn't deserve because others provoked you, you have a status, and everyone thinks you're bad news. Oh, I went to jail because I reacted to other people screwing me over, so I must be wrong, and everyone else is immediately correct. Yes? No!

Her loss.

Dearest Peter A,
I just want to thank you for the excellent instructions you sent me to delete facebook. Boy, I sure needed that. Have not done yet but will do soon. Right now I am kind of recovering from being in a car accident. Have to hire people to help me get groceries and an x-ray. But my grandson is coming to help me soon. YAHOO! Thank you again Peter A, that was so very nice of you.
Sincerely,
PrairieCat
